Ciao Marco,

grazie alla disponibilità vostra e dei ragazzi della ffado
user list finalmente ho risolto!

P.Domenico.

riporto di seguito:

It is true, jackd doesn't exit but only stop

Yes! I tried your suggestion and now jack start, with this
out in messages box:

loading driver ..
Freebob using Firewire port 0, node -1
Warning
(bebob_light/bebob_light_avdevice.cpp)[995]
discoverStep10Plug: discoverStep10Plug: unknown stream
format for channel (1)
.........................\\ and so on for twelve times,
then
14:57:55.326 MIDI connection graph change.
libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 0.
You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving
node.
libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 1.
You may need to manually set the channel on the
transmitting node.
14:57:55.391 MIDI connection change.
14:57:56.198 Server configuration saved to
"/root/.jackdrc".
14:57:56.198 Statistics reset.
14:57:56.340 Client activated.
14:57:56.341 Audio connection change.
14:57:56.342 Audio connection graph change.

Then try to start qsynth: seems to be ok. :)

Moved in qsynth setup, checked if marked MIDI input
checkbox in MIDI panel, and load a soundfont in samenamed
panel then click ok; qsynth tell that need restart engine
to apply settings.

When qsynth restarted, i don't heard any sound when press
my keys, so moved in jack connections midi panel of Jack
Audio Connection Kit and linked:

Readable Clients/Output Ports
129:FreeBoB Jack MIDI
                    |__0:dev1c_MidiPort_1

   with

Writable Clients/Input Ports
130:FLUID Synth (6397)
                    |__0:Synth input port (6397:0)

Now thinked that my keybrd can communicate wyth system,
try to press my keys and...gREAT!!
                                    :)
It's a good sound of a piano that I hear, and can't stop mw
swing playing for tests but also satisfaction and enjoying!

I would want to say thanks to all you great guys to helped
me to solve my issue, now I can to continue my piano
studies on a free system (the piano soundfont tried is
Steinway_IMIS2.1 and seems to be a good stamp, at least for
studies (http://www.musix.org.ar/wordpress/?p=190),

Right, meantime try other multimedia-based distros and I'll
deepen the progs to create a home studio set to produce my
free music and enjoy.

Because arts it's free! :D

Thanks all divine guys!
